The work "Katharsis" by the Rodian composer Savvas Karantzias, in New York

The work "Katharsis" will be hosted in America in a new series of artistic activities. Alongside the concert that will take place in the cathedral of Saint Nicholas, will be followed by two lectures at two of the most important universities in America on the subject: Composition in the 21st century.

Through this activity, Savvas Karantzias expresses the multidimensional artistic and historical relationship between the two countries (America - Greece) by giving the opportunity through his work and his collaboration with the Archdiocesan Choir-Orchestra of America to the public to be part of this cultural vision.

The composer wishes to build a bridge of culture between the two countries with the common goal of preserving and promoting History and the greater visibility of the island and local authorities to the American public.
