The anniversary program of the Greek National Opera for the completion of 100 years since the birth of Maria Callas culminates with a magnificent Opera Gala entitled "Callas in Herodium" on September 16, 2023 at the Odeon of Herodes Atticus.
Four distinguished tenors with international recognition, Anna Pirotsi, Kathryn Foster, Vasiliki Karagianni and Nina Minassian, will perform the arias marked by Callas with her performance in her historic performances at the Herodium in 1944 and 1957. The Orchestra will be conducted by the great French conductor Philippe Haugen.
