The State Orchestra of Thessaloniki and the Cultural Center of the Region of Central Macedonia honor Mikis Theodorakis in a concert with the symphonic and cinematic music of the leading Greek composer. The concert is held in collaboration with the Thessaloniki Concert Hall, in the frame of the Thessaloniki International Film Festival.
The program includes well-known and favorite songs, such as' Nychta Magikia'' and 'Omorfi Poli' as well as great symphonic works, such as' The Fest of Asi-Gonia 'which established him as a symphonic composer,' Adagio for flute 'in transcription for saxophone, with soloist Theofilos Sotiriadis and the 3rd part of 'Symphony no.3', which is 'a musical monument that expresses the deepest character of modern Greekness'.
