NEW PRODUCTION

The most popular opera, Carmen by Georges Bizet, is staged at the Cultural Conference Center of Heraklion, in collaboration with the Grattacielo Theater in New York.

The audience of Heraklion will have the opportunity to watch the new operatic co-production of the two artistic organizations, in which excellent actors participate: the Athens Philharmonic Orchestra, under the musical direction of the internationally acclaimed Myron Michaelides, the Heraklion Choral Ensemble and a multitude of lyrical artists, in a show directed by the internationally renowned Greek director Stefanos Koronaios; a cast very reminiscent of the cast that contributed to the success of their first co-production in November 2021, with B. A. Mozart's Idomeneus, King of Crete .
